Used Dodge Custom Royale

The Royale Lancer was one of the few models ever made during the production period. Its iconic chrome eyebrow and a jet-like style and are some of its striking features. Despite some of its primitive features, it is surprising to know that this vehicle is equipped with the latest V8 engine (8 cylinder engine) that is somehow one of the few engine features of revolutionary cars produced after the Second World War. Dodge Custom Royale vehicles were produced between 1955 and 1959, so getting such unit will just be remarkable. The end of the World War II produced sets of eccentric car models that include the Dodge Custom Royale. Most affluent car enthusiasts at that time started jumping in to the buying mania created by this vehicle. Perhaps, some of the few surviving units of the Dodge Custom Royal were subjected to restoration by their original manufacturer in the 1990s. Given its impressive engine, the car also has a higher fuel mileage at 41,000 miles, compared to other engines with almost similar engine specifications. Aside from the engine features already present at that time, the Custom Royale also recorded a 3-speed torque and a satisfactory automatic flight transmission and front and rear drum brakes. Alternative colors are available in metallic jade green and white. In a similar model, the Dodge Custom Royale Convertible has fairly competitive engine quality, Super D-500 V8 engine (overhead valve). It has an impressive engine power output at 345 hp (four-barrel carbureted engine). However, this body framework was not well received by the public, and only 984 items were sold during its lifetime, with prices pegged at roughly £4500. Interiors are excellent, although it is not perfect for long rides. Legroom and headroom are generous along with the spacious baggage portion. Novel features are power-steering and power brakes, an average entertainment system (Deluxe Radio), dual rear speakers and antennas, rear window defrost, and swivel front seats. These suggest the seats’ adjustable nature but still somehow, the car is not comfortable enough to support long trips. This car is usually seen in auctions. The recent 2007 auction (Monterey Sports & Classic Car Auction) sold the Dodge Custom Royale from around £60,000 to £80,000. This car model was later replaced by the Dodge Spirit, which suffered a short-lived production from 1985 to 1989. The used Dodge Custom Royale did not do well with sales. Perhaps the car’s futuristic appearance played a big role in keeping people away from buying the car, although it has the highest recorded car performance during the 1950s.
